Has anybody used Fischer & Patrick's  pre-processing procedure which they 
proposed in their paper titled "A pre-processing algorithm for the nearest 
neighbour decision rules". Ref: Proc. National electronic inf., 26, pp.481-485 
(1970)

or else if either of the authors is available I would like to have his e-mail 
address.
