Dear S-gurus,
I have been using the trellis graphics heavily for some time now. I used
to do this on my unix version and had no problems.
However, I have had to resort to using the PC version on during my
travels. As a result, I often do all analysis and presentations on my
PC.
Recently, one of my clients complained that the symbols and lines from
the trellis graphics are not clear. At first, I thought that it was due
to the fact that I use WMF on the PC instead of EPS. However, when I
then did some experimenting and found that I got equally poor results
from all saving methods.
This leads me to believe that the symbols on the PC trellis graphics are
bit-mapped and therefore not scalable in any output format. Needless to
say, this *severely* limits how I can use the trellis graphics, since I
can't have my clients complaining that they can't read graphs unless I
blow them up to whole-page size.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Does anyone know how to remedy it?
My sincerest thanks for any help in solving this problem for me!
Thank you very much.
regards,
jcd
