multiple comparisons for logistic regression

Is it valid to use multiple comparisons the results of logistic 
regression? Multicomp() works on glm objects, but I'm just wondering 
whether the results are valid. I would appreciate any insight.
Also, there appears to be a bug in this function in SPlus 7 for Unix. A 
call to multicomp gets the following error:
Problem in multicomp.lm(bull1aov): Couldn't find a function definition 
for "arg.names"
It works fine in SPlus 6.2.
