Hello,

I found nothing in the archives, so I hope you can help me.

As far as I know one of the precondition for the Fast Fourier Transformation is the equidistance of the time series (beside the stationarity).

The time series is the interbeat intervall of the heartbeats in millisec.

Is this the correct procedure to gain a equidistant time series?

1. detect the shortest distance between two heartbeats
2. the correct sampling rate is the shortest distance devided by two (Nyquist-Frequency) 3. the new time series with the equidistanten intervall has a 1 for a beat and 0 for no beat

Thanks in advance for any help.
