Dear S-news,
The randomForest library for Splus 6.x is now available at
http://www.stat.berkeley.edu/~breiman/rf.html. You can find source for
Unix/Linux and binary for Windows from there. Thanks to Prof. Ripley who
resolved my problem compiling it under Windows. If you find any problem
with the code, please let me know. Thanks!
(I already know there's one bug: when test data is given to randomForest(),
the $test$confusion component of the return object is wrong.)
Cheers,
Andy
