Has anyone written a program to produce a circular histogram? One of our
researchers has data on dispersal directions for owls (about 7000 data
points) which he would like to summarize in a circular histogram. We would
sub-divide the circle into 72 5-degree increments and on the margin of the
circle we want to plot a column whose height represents the number of owls
dispersing in that particular direction.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. As usual, individual responses will
be summarized to the group.
Thanks,
Manuela Huso
