| Thread-topic: | regarding accessing column names using a string |
|
i aplogize for my
last message because i was not clear/incorrect
in my statement. my
column names are those character
strings with the 4
digits. the matrix itself holds numbers.
i haven't tried all
of the different suggestions but
using pmatch by
comparing ticker1 to
the names in the
matrix and getting the
index using a
numeric worked so i am using that.
thanks to everyone
and sorry for the confusion.
