Thanks to everyone for helping with the weird input I had. Prof. Ripley
explained that I could avoid the problem by setting singular.ok = T in
the lm() command. It worked nicely.
Now, I want rename my dataframe columns. I want to keep the names as
they are with 3 letters appended on to them. e.g.: old column name
"temp" - want new column name to be "DAB.temp" or "temp.DAB". thanks...
