Insightful is pleased to announce Insightful Miner 3, the latest release of the
highly scalable data analysis workbench.
Insightful Miner is a new way of performing data analysis and creating
predictive models. By using its drag-and-drop interface, you can use its
extensive suite of scalable components to create a visual workmap which
describes your entire data analysis process.
Insightful Miner works with S-PLUS 6 on Windows and Solaris, allowing you to
create your own components based on the S programming language, and to create
libraries of custom components to share with others.
Tomorrow (June 24), I will be presenting a webcast on Insightful Miner 3, with
special focus on how Insightful Miner and S-PLUS work together. In particular,
I'll show how Insightful Miner's unique pipeline architecture is used to apply
predictive models to very large data sets. The webcast is at 11AM US East Coast
