[S] Character expansion in plot.survfit

Hello everybody,

I'm using S-Plus 3.4 (Unix) and would like to change the character
expansion for plots produced by plot.survfit (i.e. axis labelling,
xlab, ylab).
I know that cex when used as an argument to plot.survfit affects
only the marks and found that cex when used in par doesn't seem to
change anything. Does anybody have a quick hint where to look else
or what to do? Thanks for your help.
