Dear all:

Thank you so much for all the replys regarding my question of how to
generate a matrix from random sampling. I was very excited when I got
many responses in a day or so and it worked out ! I spent several days to
think about it because I'm a pretty new to this area, the solutions are
very simple. I've learned a lot from trial-and-errors actually. As a
beginner, I think s-programming is not so user-friendly. Whenever I have
some problems, it's hard to find some references or get some help. Once I
get used it, it would be ok, I think.
Since it turned out to be pretty simple, I don't feel that I need to post
the summary. There are so many ways to do it. I'd really appreciate all
the help from s-news subscribers, we can go on to the next step due to
your help.
 Have a good day !
