Hello,
I'm using S-PLUS 4.5 Professional, Release 1 for Windows and I have a question
about using the GUI to do linear regression with Main Effects and 2-factor
interactions (2fi's) only.
When using the "Create Formula" dialogue box, one is able to select Main
Effect, Interaction, and Main+Interact., among others. Selecting Main+Interact.
returns all of the 2-factor AND higher order interactions.
My question is this: is there any easy way to limit the formula to only
Main+2fi's, using the GUI?
I'm looking at 5-10 main predictor variables and would like to see their 2fi's,
but to manually select all the combinations would take quite a bit of time.
