I just recently figured out how to call C programs from Splus ver 4. I'm using Visual C/C++, and so I create a dll and then load it into Splus using dll.load. I'd like to be able to use printf statem

I'm running Splus4 on Windows NT, with a 166 Mhz pentium that has 128 Mb of RAM. I have a set of 12 large data sets in my _data directory, each 1-2 Mb. When I try to start up Splus, it takes forever
