Yes, (well I hope so anyway). I have converted the world map databases to Windows format. Apparently these work under Windows9x, but I don't know if anyone has tried NT. Also it may not have been S-

Now I see the solution, I recognise the problem :-). This seems to happen whenever the file .Splus_history grows larger than 1 megabyte. Thus it seems to be a bug, but with a fairly easy workaround.
