I'm looking for more information on the "add
contrast" function after I've performed an ANCOVA. Without going into too
much detail, the ANCOVA tells me that there is a significant difference in
material properties between plants (n=20), and now I'd like to compare small
(n=10) vs. large plants (n=10).
Specifically, how do I report this
contrast analysis for publication. Are the "contrast" results identical to
a "Scheffe's test?" Can I simply call it a "contrast analysis" and then
report the t-Ratio and p-value?
Any help or advice would be
appreciated.
(I'm using v. 3.2.1, soon to upgrade to
4.0)
