Jim,
Try this. Select the columns you want to change, and simply search and replace
. with 0. Make sure to select "Match whole words only" and "Restrict to
selected columns" and "search Data". IT worked for me in a mock data set.

Cheers
Gunter

JMP Users,

Does anyone know of an efficient way to zero fill a subset of a JMP
data table?

        Specifics:

        1) I have a set of columns which are grouped together and are
partially filled
with data. I would like to fill the remaining cells with blanks so that JMP
will read the
zeroes as data, rather than as a missing value.

Is there an efficient way to do this for several hundred columns? I
know how
to do this for a few columns at a time using formulas for each individual
column, but I do
not know of a way to do this for hundreds of columns.

I would be most grateful to anyone willing to share ideas how to do
this.

        Thank you,
        Jim Metz
