The user two different flash sticks were tried. I've used them just
last week to install onto a Mac with no problems.
The user can not use OSX because of the software used to collect data
from the lab instruments and they were using JMP just the day before and
it somehow stopped working.
After trying the install we decided to reboot the computer just in case
something else running was interfering with the install. The computer
would not reboot and IS was called. IS was able to bring the computer
back up. We are trying to figure out what is going on and going to meet
with IS hopefully today to see if they can figure out anything and get
the user back to using JMP.

Subject: Re: [jmp-l] Installing JMP on a mac
It is conceivable that the flash stick has had copied onto it the
Windows installer rather than the Mac's. (Both are distributed on the
same CD.) If that is not probable tell the owner to boot into OS 9.2 -
he has to have a Mac running OSX to have 9.2 installed-rather than
use emulation mode (the so-called Classic mode) and then try to install.
