JMP Users, When updating a JMP table, it is necessary to choose a column "key" on which to join or merge the new data into the old table. Question. Suppose the "key" is sometimes specified using different words or a set of words which might be considered as synonyms. Also assume that the synonym sets are unique i.e. no overlap. Does anyone have any idea then how to match up two tables and update the "old" table with data from the "new" table if I am using synonyms rather than exactly the same "key" as in the old data table?
