The faster that SPLUS comes up with improvements the Better.  If I could only
find out whether they had shipped 4.5 to our site (I hope they read these
notes) the sooner I would ask that it be up and running.

The main drawback to SPLUS has been the fact that the programming language, in
some respects, is arcane and its hard or impossible to locate programmers with
expertise or willingness to learn S-PLUS.
