The second site for S Poetry is now operational. The two sites are the
same
except that you can get Chapter 1 (Essentials) separately at the UK
site. Also
some additions and a fix have been made.

Roger Koenker gracefully pointed out to me that the tabs in the Makefile
in
poetry.shar had been converted to spaces. So if you got poetry.shar
before
approximately noon GMT 23 May 1998, then you are guaranteed not to have
tabs. You still have the opportunity to mess it up if you do as I did
and
transport it as text rather than binary.
The names of the S objects contained in poetry.shar are listed and a
brief
explanation is given for most of them.
