Hi all,
I've been experiencing what seem to be abnormal behaviors when using import
from the file menu in S+ 4.0. Specifically when I try to import a
spreadsheet of data and one of the columns has no data for many rows at the
start, the column is imported as non-numeric, even though the column does
contain numeric data. Is this a 'glitch' or am I doing something wrong ?
Note that other columns import correctly even if there are a couple of
'empty' rows at the start of them.
I've tried reformatting the data in question in Excel with no luck.
