Thanks for the dozen replies in an afternoon. It seems the answer is the
Epi Info EXPORT program. I had to download all Epi Info and then I can
just run the EXPORT program and find a compatible format (I have tried
Systat and Lotus - both seem OK) - simple! Just the one small executable
is all you need.
