Thanks for your prompt reply, but this is not what I was 
looking for.  I need to return to the calling S-Plus program
the entire path of a user-selected file.  I believe the 
appropriate dll for Windows95 systems is comdlg32.dll.  

Thanks for any ideas you all might have.
