Sorry to bother everyone with a ridiculous problem, but it also happens to
be a problem I can't get rid of. Also, I'm a fairly new user to S-Plus
and assume I must be missing some rather obvious.
I've been using S-Plus in a logistic regression data analysis. When I
went to plot one of my fitted objects, the graph was upside down. I've
been using Frank Harrell's Hmisc and Design libraries but also had the
same problem with Adrian Raftery's ace.logit.
For instance, the following command usually plots ages separately by sex
vs. the probability of my binary event:
plot(fit.1.21, age=NA, sex=NA, fun=plogis)
But now, instead of the plot "starting" (if you will) at 0, it starts at
1, the top of the graph and comes down. I've tried exiting the program
and restarting the computer to no avail, and I've looked around several
help files without any luck. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance and sorry for the decidedly banal question.
dave
