I'd appreciate any suggestions on creating (I think) a very simple plot
involving alphanumeric data. I have a modest sized data frame, perhaps 300
variables. As part of my final statistical report I would like to provide a
glossary of the variable names (or a subset of them) and their labels in an
SPLUS plot(s). The simple alternative is to put the variables and their
labels into an EXCEL spreadsheet, but I thought the SPLUS graphic would be a
bit more "elegant". If I receive any suggestions, I'll repost a summary to
the listserv.

Thanks in advance.
