        Hello All,
We use to run Splus34 on a Sparc 20 with 128 Mb running SunOS and we have
now installed Splus5 on a Sparc5 with 128 Mb running Solaris 2.6 and we
feel very frustrated because everything, from startup to graphics to fitting
a model, is extremely slow, much more so than in our old Sparc20 (not to
mention R or matlab on the same Sparc5!).
Does anyone know if there is a fix, a patch or a special configuration,
to either Splus5 or the OS, that improves things?
  Cheers,
                                        Bruno
