Analysing GIS and Spatial Data using S-PLUS for ArcView GIS and
S+SpatialStats July 22nd, Oxford UK
This hands-on 1 day course is intended to provide a quick introduction to
spatial and GIS data analysis using S-PLUS for ArcView GIS. Delegates will
be introduced to the graphical user interface (GUI) of S-PLUS, S-PLUS for
ArcView GIS and ArcView GIS and need not have any experience with either
S-PLUS or ArcView GIS.
Delegates will learn how to import and export data between S-PLUS and
ArcView GIS, how to create S-PLUS graphs from inside ArcView , how to fit
linear and spatial linear regression models from ArcView, how to execute
S-PLUS commands from Avenue scripts and see how the S-PLUS GUI can be
customised to perform specific analyses.
