I sent a help request on Lme function and detailed refenrence
information
of Laird and Ware (1982). I find the detailed reference to Laird and Ware
(1982) in the on-line manual(it is not in the Splus hardcopy manual.). I
will check that out. However, if any of you is familiar with the Lme
function, would you please still explain it briefly to me, which will help
me in understanding the original paper.(I am pressured in time now to
understand the mixed-effect model.) I will really appreciate your help.
