Does this imply that you think Universities are not organizations? Or are
you taking .org addresses to be organizations and .com not?  (Takes tounge
out of cheek.)

I wish that were my experience.  I find people whose emails imply they work
for commercial companies rarely acknowledge free advice, and also that some
vigorous questioners with .edu addresses actually work for companies (this
usually emerges when they complain about the excessive cost of software).
I have become wary of the demands of some of those, but usually u/grads
are nowhere near as persistent.
