Does anyone know the algorithm used in the Splus function(Splus 4.5 or
2000 for windows) " predict.nls"
or the predicted interval for future values generated from the " Statistics
menu--regression---nonlinear--predict "?
Is it the result of the asymtotic linearity (Taylor expansion
approximation)?
How can I see the C code used in some internal Splus functions? Do I have
to use a compiler ?
Thank you for any suggestions.
Xin Tian
