Dear Splus-ers,

I want to analyze ordinal data where the cutpoints between the categories
are known. The data consists of
a number of studies and the observations within
a study. Grouped regression is a model for ordinal
data with known cutpoints. But I want to incoorperate
random intercepts and slopes to account for the mixed
levels of the data.

Does someone know if and where I can find
Splus functions or SAS procedures for the analysis of a
grouped regression model with mixed effects? Or some
other way of analyzing this data?

Thanks in advance,

Karin Oudshoorn
