Dear S+ users,

I would like to perform CONVOLUTIONS, but I cannot find the right function.
Maybe, the problem is that it is not the right name. What I want to perform
is to compare a vector (a time record) with a given vector in the same way
a vector is compared with a sine wave in a Fourier transform. That is, the
time record is multiply by a short vector to give other vector whose area
gives a coefficient. Then, the short vector is shifted to other position
with regard the big vector and the operation is repeated to find another
coefficient, and so on.

Could you help me?

Thanks.
