at the corporate headquarters in Franklin Lakes, NJ.
Job Title: Senior Statistician
Perform statistical consulting in many application areas, including product
development (R&D), clinical biostatistics, high-volume manufacturing, strategic
decision analysis, marketing research, quality assurance
Educational requirements: Doctorate in Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied
Mathematics, or closely related discipline.
Require Strong Knowledge of:
Linear and Non-linear Models, non-parametrics (including permutation tests,
re-randomization, re-sampling), Bayesian inference and Decision Theory,
Experimental Design (including non-bayesian sequential designs), Applied
Probability models and Stochastic processes, Time Series, and Multivariate
Analysis, Categorical Data Analysis and Generalized Linear Models
Desirable to have Knowledge of:
Statistical Process Control, Acceptance Sampling, Reliability, Optimization and
Non-linear Programming, Discrete Event Simulation, Linear Systems and Control
Theory, Statistical Graphics and Exploratory Data Analysis
Require Strong Knowledge of AT LEAST ONE from:
SAS/IML, S-Plus programming, C++, Visual Basic
Additional Qualifications:
0-3 years of work experience; Excellent Communications Skills; Enjoy interacting
with people; undergraduate or additional education in field other than
statistics or math; U.S. Permanent Resident or U.S. Citizenship highly
preferred
