Happy Holidays

I have a moderately large dataframe consisting of several parameters. I
need to develop a series of histograms using one of the quantitative
variables. Since the series consists of 35 different plots I'd like to
use a looping function that queries the dataframe for each of the
categories, selects the appropriate records and returns the histogram.

I've looked on the archive to functions that might do similar
applications, but I did not see any during my explorations.

Any assistance is appreciated.

I'm working on an SGI using Splus 3.3.

Thanks
Steve
