[S] Transfer object between Splus5 and Splus2000

 Dear S-users,

I ran a simulation in Splus5 on  a linux machine and would like to get some plots in Splus2000 on PC. I used 'data.dump'  in Splus5 and 'data.restore' in Splus2000 for the object but got the following  'error message' .

Error: in reading invalid mode for data: pt3.2 at line 2

I did the similar thing between Splus3.4 on unix and Splus2000 which
worked OK.  Can anyone point out my problem? Is this because I used
liux ?  What is a best way to transfer an S-object from Splus5 to Splus2000?
