[S] How to link multilple time series to MS ACCESS database and auto-refresh

Hi I have several time series in MS ACESS database. 
and each of these time series is updated daily. 
My questions are
1. how can I link these time series in S-PLus to ACCESS queries and
2. how can I refresh the linkage everyday, because of the new data in the 
tables.
