I am having a problem importing a dataset. The original file is an
access database table. I have tried importing it three ways:

Directly via ODBC
Exporting to Excel and importing the Excel File
Exporting to Excel and Importing from Excel via ODBC
Exporting to comma delimited format and importing as ASCII

The problem I am having is that two fields that are sparsely populated
are imported with no data whatsoever. In one of the fields the first 71
records are blank - when it is imported all records are blank. Since I
need to select data based on these fields it is a huge problem that I
cannot import these. Does anyone have any insight on this? The sooner
you can reply the better.
