Dear friends:
Is it possible to somehow combine two different tests for testing the same
hypothesis
and to create a more powerful test? Any references on S-PLUS (or SAS)
procedures
and/or publications are greatly appreciated.
I have another question, completely unrelated to the first one. I recall that
there is an
S-PLUS function which allows one to automate the creation of QQ-plots for
testing an ARBITRARY distribution. In other words, it provides the expectations
of ordered samples drawn from a set of standard distributions (like chi-square,
lognormal, exponential, etc). I can't find this function in the 'official'
S-PLUS package and don't remember which contributed package has something of
the kind.
Thank you for your help
