Hello S_PLUS experts,
I have used the write command as part of a function, first
transforming the matrix and specifying the number of columns as
per example page 109 of the programmer's guide SPLUS 20000. I
am able to import this file using the dropdown menus with filetype
set on All files.

However I cannot import it specifying it as an ASCII filetype with the
import.data command.

Your suggestions would be appreciated.
