Dear S users,

I want to compare the hazard curve of 200 related person to the known
hazard curve. As the first step, I consider to use the following model:
h(t)=exp(beta*X)*h0(t), where h0(t) is a known hazard. It resemables a cox
model. Can anyone point out if there is a function in Splus that I can use
to estimate beta? Can I trick "coxph" doing this for me? If so, the next
step will be use "offset" option in coxph to fit the random effect u. Thanks!

James
