I imported a dataset using the file, import data menu option in Windows 2000
(NT version). Several of the factor variables in the original database had
missing values coded as NA. In the SPLUS database that was created, these
factor values have been imported as a factor value = NA rather than missing
value NAs. How can I convert these NA values to true missing value NAs?
