Many thanks to Jason Connor, Eric Zivot, Matthew Zack, Joseph Bevene, Paul
Lin, Rolf Turner and Ed Jones for patiently demonstrating how to run a
t-test on regression coefficients. The answer is:
(coeff - 0) / s.e.(coeff) ~ t(df)This tests how different the coefficient is from 0. To test against other slopes, you simply need to replace the "0" with the other number. Thank you all very much! Cheers, Todd Hatfield |
