Hi there,
I hope this mail of mine makes it to the list ( looks like non of my
previous mails ever made it ).
Anyways, coming to the question:-
1) I am trying to calculate variogram.cloud for a relatively huge dataset
( it has 10000 observations ). When i tried to run the variogram.cloud
command on my data Splus (5.1 for SUN Sparc ) after a lot of fight gave up
and poped up and error message something like this:-
var.cloud.nv.random.df=variogram.cloud(NVI~easting+northing,
data=nv.random.df)
error:- Problem in zi-zj: unable to obtain requested dynamic memory
In the above nv.random.df is the dataset whcih has normalized vegetation
index at 10000 locations.
FYI:-
I am running Splus 5.1 Release 1 for SUN Sparc (i am running the on
both Ultra 10's and Ultra 60's).
How can i over come this?? I am aware that there is something with regard
to dynamic memory allocation. Any hints/suggestions would be
appreciated. In the meantime i too would refer to the Splus manuals for
something relating to the increasing of dynamic memory allocation.
Regards
Reddy
