Hi there,
Yet another posting from me and again regarding some error. Only this
time it is with graphics.
below is the code that i ran before i got the error:-
var.nv.random.df=variogram(NVI~easting+northing,data=nv.random.df)
par(mar=c(5,5,5,5)+0.1,pty="s")
plot(var.nv.random.df)
And when in run this i get the following error:-
error: Problem in .C("graphicspipe",: Could not fork to start graphics
process ( not enough space ), while calling subroutine graphicspipe
I forgot to mention one critical thing in my last mail. I actaully have 4
datasets and since i figured that calculations on them is time consuming i
am running a similar Splus code on each of the dataset ( each dataset has
10000 observations) on 4 seperate SUN Ultra 10's simultaneously ( almost,
neglecting some time gap ). And i am making sure that when i run the code
on different machine i am making different directory as the working
directory. I have also ensured that there is enuf memory on the hard disks
( all have more than 2 gigs of empty space on them ) and no other memory
intensive code/program is running on those machines other than Splus ( i
don't mean Splus is memory intensive !!) So i guez all the RAM is
available for Splus solely.
What could be the problem ?? Any hints/suggestion would be appreciated.
regards
reddy
