Dear S-Colleagues: Can anybody indicate a reference where the resistance of popular tests for normality (such as Shapiro-Wilk or Kolmogorov-Smirnov) with respect to serial correlation is discussed? More generally, are any theoretical approaches known for evaluating how serial correlation interferes with the hypothesis testing procedures?
