I assume you're referring to the Bates and Pinero NLME library, and NLME 3.3
is included in S-PLUS 6 for Unix/Linux and S-PLUS 2000 for Windows.

You can find more information about NLME 3, including a reference to the
highly-recommended book "Mixed-effects models in S" at
http://nlme.stat.wisc.edu/.
