I'm running S-PLUS Version 6 on a Sun. Occasionally when I use
importData("...file.sas7bdat", type="SAS7")
some of the variables, when imported, will be all zero's (or more
precisely some number like 1.738403e-307). Every observation of a
particular variable will look like this. The latest time this occurred
the true observations in SAS were either 0 or 1.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Also are they any plans to make importData work with SAS 8.1 datasets?
Thank you.
Jason
