Hello colleagues,
I work with desktop & laptop, both running Win 2000.
Synchronizing files after going offline with the laptop is
the bane of mobile computers, of course.
I've been finding that the Win 2000 "synchronization" feature, which
was supposed to solve all our mobility problems,
seems to lead to disaster. Old Splus objects can overwrite
newer ones. I don't have insights into why this seems to
happen specifically with Splus, though I suspect that the
way Splus codes objects into the "__*" files may play a role. Have
others seen similar problems, or for that matter have some of
you accommodated to Win2000 synchronization without any problem?
