Regarding synchronization: I'm not using S-PLUS under windows, but I'm
doing some sync'ing by having Cygwin installed (a POSIX/UNIX set of
tools, free under the GNU GPL license from http://sources.redhat.com/
(not positive on location)), and using the "rsync" tool.
When I need stuff version/revision controlled with a documentation
trail for changes, I pick a master location, and use cvs (this can
accomodate multiple users, as well), using network file systems (file
sharing on windows or NFS under Unix).
Both tools work on Unix and Windows (95 and later).
best,
-tony
