Hi all,

Is there a way of instructing S-plus to report failures in a programme but still return estimates (using lme) of the parts of a programme that didn't fail? I get this message:

y2(400, 10)
Error in .C("lme_loglik",: G(1) matrix not invertible
Dumped

I suspect that my first lme call is causing the problem since when I take this call out I never seem to get the problem. Is the a way of reporting the fact that G(1) matrix is not invertible, in the c subroutine, but then returning the other 3 calls to lme?

Cheers in advance,

Paul H.
